Must have:  1-2 years of experience in corporate development, FP&A, investment banking, private equity, or consulting

Bonus:  Up to $50,000 annually

Travel:  Up to 30%

Required: Must live or be willing to relocate to Dallas/Fort Worth, TX.  Have 1 to 2 years’ experience in corporate development, FP&A, investment banking, private equity, or consulting. To be considered for the position, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and 1 to 3 years of post graduate experience.  Investment Banking/Private Equity/Financial Modeling experience is required.

Company Overview: Rapidly growing, diversified, Texas-based, lower middle market private equity investment firm and advisor to independent sponsors and acquisition entrepreneurs. We provide acquisition support and direct equity capital investment through proprietary strategies and relationships to create value for entrepreneurs, investors, and the companies in which we invest or acquire through leverage buyouts.  Industries: healthcare, business services, government services, home services (roofing, plumbing, HVAC, etc.), niche manufacturing, and distribution.

The Corporate Development Analyst will work directly with Co-founders and senior leadership to support a wide range of critical corporate priorities.

  • The position will help lead and manage strategic projects, such as implementing companywide KPIs, metric tracking, and recruiting processes.
  • Our Investment Group is also a frequent acquirer (leverage buyouts); therefore, another key responsibility will be acquisitions due diligence, financing, and execution.
  • This position will also be responsible for compiling board presentations and will interface directly with the board of directors.

  • Financial reporting and analysis (FP&A)
  • Board presentation preparation
  • Industry and competitive analysis
  • Acquisition due diligence, financing, and execution
  • Acquisition target sourcing
  • Lead and manage strategic projects
  • Business metric / KPI collection and tracking

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a highly motivated, intelligent, solution-oriented, creative, and accomplished self-starter
  • Must demonstrate strong quantitative and soft skills
  • Must also possess a strong knowledge of business strategy and finance
  • 1-2 years of experience in corporate development, FP&A, investment banking, private equity, or consulting is REQUIRED
  • 1-3 years of post graduate experience
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree from a well-regarded university
  • Must also be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
