LOCATION: Stanislaus County (CA)
Located in the heart of Central Valley with close proximity to Yosemite National Park, Monterey Bay, San Francisco Bay Area, Silicon Valley, and Sacramento, this 200+ bed acute care hospital facility is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing – Emergency Services to manage the department functions to facilitate effective and efficient operation and to maximize patients’ level of comfort and function.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required, with a bachelor’s degree in a health care related field; BSN preferred
- Preferred: MSN or master’s in a health care related field
- Two (2) years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse/related position
- Current State of California license
- 3-5 years relevant experience with progressive leadership
- At least three (3) years of experience working the Emergency room
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN) within one (1) year of hire
