The Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians’ orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated ultrasound equipment, taking into account individual patient’s special or age-related needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
  • Board eligible for certification at American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  • Oregon Sonographer upon hire, Or
  • Oregon Sonographer Temporary upon hire
  • National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography within 6 months (180 days) of hire
  • New graduates must be board eligible and obtain certification (ARDMS) within 6 months of hire upon hire
  • New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire upon hire

Preferred Qualification:

  • Two (2) years of Clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound
  • Two (2) years OBGYN sonography experience
